The Atena takes its name from Atena Lucana, a historic town in the Vallo di Diano, in the province of Salerno, not far from the place where Francesco Sensini shoes are created by hand.
The name reflects the deep connection between the brand and its territory — a land of history, tradition, craftsmanship, and authentic Southern Italian character. Just as every Sensini creation carries the hands and experience of its artisan, the Atena carries with it a small piece of the land where our story began.
The upper is crafted from premium Italian calfskin leather in a sophisticated olive green shade, complemented by ivory laces and a practical side zipper that adds character while allowing for easy wear.
Its high-top silhouette combines the distinctive presence of an ankle boot with the comfort and versatility of a contemporary sneaker. The lightweight ivory Rubrex midsole and honey-gum tread create an elegant contrast with the deep olive green leather.
